Tijana Boskovic scored 24 points, five blocks and an ace to help Serbia earn their Rio 2016 Olympic Games ticket after they defeated Argentina 3:2 (25:16, 25:19, 20:25, 23:25, 15:4) in the third round of the Women’s World Cup at the Park Arena Komaki on Sunday. The Serbians finished the competition with a 10-1 record. After losing their very first game to China in four sets in the first round, the Serbians completed it with a 10-match winning streak. Serbia coach Zoran Terzic said: "Congratulation to our opponents; it was a very interesting game. And congratulations to my team because in the last 10 years the Serbian team have made a lot of victories and done a lot of things we’ve never done before and today we finally got a medal in the World Cup for the first time. Before the game, I expected we wouldn’t be relaxed and it would be difficult, but after we got to 2-0 I thought we could play more relaxed, but we didn’t. So it was tough for us to the end but finally we won. Now I’m not thinking about it; it’s time to be happy and celebrate."
