Lasers (World League Finals 2007)
Nice lasers in Spodek hall after final match in World League 2007 Final Six between Russia and Brazil. Playground was preparing to the decoration so organizers created illumination like that. You can hear "Bonnie Tyler - I Need a Hero" hit on the background. In my opinion lasers from the World League 2005 in Spodek were better.8 5905 -

Many fans think that it was the strongest Brazilian team in the history. After that tournament there was some conflicts between Ricardo Garcia and Bernardo Rezende. Ricardinho didn't want to share 40000$ for MVP award with his team. There is some unwritten custom that every player shares money prize with all the teammates. Bulgaria in World Championships 2006
There was a first Bulgarian success after a few years without any medals on the international area. Before semi-final against Poland everyone in Bulgaria was very excited and there was a huge interest around the volleyball in that time. The biggest Bulgarian star in that tournament was Matey Kaziyski who get award for the best server. He was a player of Russian Dynamo Moscow in that season.13 5648 -

They was cheering Poland in years 2007-2009 and I don't know what they are doing now. There is a nice situation before the match in World League 2007 when the Polsat's journalist asked them what they are doing here. Leader said to his mates: "and know all your hands up and everybody are singing the song Polska Biało-Czerwoni!".8 7189

Ricardo Garcia is regarded as the best setter in the volleyball history. He totally changed Brazilian style of playing. His sets are sophisticated and unpredictable for the opponent team.

Let's see the best volleyball players in that time: Giba, Ricardo, Dante Amaral, Andrea Sartoretti and Luigi Mastrangelo. Movie with the greatest moments of Polish National Team in the World Championships 2006 in Japan. After semi-final against Bulgaria Polish volleyball players became idols of Polish people. Everybody was talking about them. The biggest Polish stars of that tournament was Paweł Zagumny (award for the best setter) and Mariusz Wlazły (nomination for MVP award).
