You mean after Zhekov? There are some talented young setters, but they need experience abroad for several years before they can take the rule of the team
In this team lack of such player as Plamen Konstantinov ... nothing more
I agree with you.
Bulgarian team has got many very good players. They have two fantastic liberos (Salparov, Ivanov), 3 good opposites (Sokolov, Miłuszew and Jordanov) and one world class opposite (Nikolov), many good and very good middle-blockers(Cwetanow, Todorov, Josifov...) but they haven't any good setter. Now Bulgaria is having a trouble with second wing-spiker . Kaziyski is a great player, in my opinion top 5 wing-spikers in the world. Ananiev and Aleksijew are only not bad, and they are better in offensive than defensive. In future Bulgaria will have Nikołaj Penczew. He seems to be player with a big talent, but who will be setter in this national team?
In my opinion in Rio:
.......... (Zhekov ? ?), Kaziyski, Josifov, Sokolov, Penchev, Todorov and Ivanov.
