Italy take fifth place in volleyball after beating France

The match was thrilling and could have been won by either of the two teams

Italy and France bid farewell to the Mediterranean Games with a good match, won by the Italians by three sets to two. It was expected to be a quite relaxed match, but it certainly wasn’t. Both teams fought for the victory and played five very intensive sets. In the final set, the Italian temperance and character prevailed. France achieved sixth place, whereas Italy ended in an unexpected fifth place.
