Galatasaray HDI Sigorta Women's Volleyball Team has signed Vakifbank's Romanian setter cross Alexia Ioana Carutasu on loan for one year.
Alexia Ioana Carutasu, who played in Yeşilyurt, one of the Sultans League teams, on loan last year, played an important role in Yeşilyurt's winning the CEV Challenge Cup, and also won the MVP award.
The young player, born in 2003, who started his professional volleyball career in Romanian team CSM Bucharest, was also selected as the best setter diagonal in the U17 Balkan Championship, where he competed with the Romanian national team.
