I chose my major because: I had a high school biology teacher that did an amazing job of teaching concepts of biology and he really got me interested and intrigued about biology, specifically cell biology and genetics
I started playing my sport because…: I was originally a track and field athlete (mainly high jump) growing up and through high school. I got injured in 2015 and decided to stop competing. I started playing volleyball for fun to stay active, and ended up joining a club team my Junior year of high school. My senior year my club coach helped me get recruited.
I chose Rutgers because…: The volleyball program is competitive, and it is in a competitive conference. The coaches are great and have helped me out tremendously. The Grad programs offered really pertain to my interests. Its close to home.
One word to describe Coach Schweihofer: Honest
Person who had greatest influence on my athletics career:  1- My Club Coach Bear Davies and 2 - My father
The person I most admire is and why: My older sister, she's been my best friend my entire life and I love her. I've looked up to her my growing up and still do today. I can always count on her to be there for me and I can talk to her about anything at any time.
If I wasn’t playing volleyball, I’d be: Still in Canada
