Germany - Thailand (full match)

Thai team overpowered Germany easier than expected in their Group D (Group 1) match of the Grand Prix played in São Paulo. It was a perfect play from the Asians and a straight-set victory, important in breaking tradition versus today's opponent as well as a two-game losing streak in the competition - 3:0 (25:22, 25:20, 25:16). Onuma Sittirak scored 22 points in only the second win of Thailand over Germany in the history of Grand Prix. Margareta Kozuch scored a team-high of 15 points for the German side who lost its third game in Preliminary Round.
