"At school, they invited me to the volleyball club, I came, I liked it. Then I took a break for a while, started going to art school. And then I thought: where will I go with the skills of an artist? And I returned back to volleyball. And so at 15 I ended up in Krasnodar. My parents and I went to tryouts at several clubs, and in the end I decided to stay in Krasnodar, because I liked both the coaching staff and the attitude of the girls on the team. I was still playing in the youth team back then," says Krasnodar VC "Dynamo" player Ekaterina Pipunyrova.

Born on March 02, 2002, professional volleyball player Lila Şengün is a member of the Turkish national volleyball team and the Fenerbahçe Opet Volleyball Team. Playing in the setter position, Lila spent the 2022-2023 volleyball season on loan at Sarıyer Belediyespor and SigortaShop teams, and is also the captain of our U21 women's national volleyball team. Coming from a family of athletes and experiencing different sports branches from a young age, Lila set her course for volleyball and, after that, she trained at the Fenerbahçe Sports Club in 2011 and reached a professional level. Lila, who started playing for Fenerbahçe Opet A Team in 2020, also won the European Championship with the U19 National Volleyball team in 2020 and received the best setter award of this tournament. She concluded her speech with the words, “You are the one playing this game, if you are the one determining the rules, no one can stop you and you will be successful.” Meliha İsmailoğlu Diken (born 17 September 1993) is a Turkish national volleyball player of Bosnia-Herzegovina origin. She currently plays as a commentator in Fenerbahçe Opet Women's Volleyball Team and Türkiye Women's National Volleyball Team. She started her sports career at the age of eight with the OK Kula Gradačac team in Bosnia and Herzegovina. She was named volleyball player of the year in 2009 and 2011. She came to Turkey at the age of 16, then continued her sports and education life here. She transferred to Fenerbahçe in May 2014 and showed many successes and won trophies. She played in Turkey's indoor and beach volleyball jersey, despite being born in Bosnia and Herzegovina. She transferred to Eczacıbaşı in 2017 and later to VakıfBank SK in 2019 and achieved many successes with this club. Then she was transferred to Fenerbahçe again in May 2021. In the process, she appeared in tournaments with the Turkey Women's National Volleyball Team and achieved success.
