Zenit Kazan played without some key players, they finished the match in straight sets. After the match, the head coach of Zenit Kazan, Vladimir Alekno stated that even towards the end of the second set where they had some difficulties, they did stick with their game plan and everybody worked hard for the victory. As a result, Zenit Kazan will be vying for their fifth title in Europe’s elite club competition after qualifying for the Final Four, which will be taking place in Rome on April 29-30.
