Jochen Schops great defense (Resovia - Skra)

Jochen Schops isn't only a great spiker but also great defender. Jochen is admired by many fans for peace, self-control, humility and respect for rivals. He played great in quarter-final against Skra Bełchatów. He got MVP award in that game. He found himself in a difficult situation before season: he had to replace amazing Georg Grozer (he went to Belogorie Belgorod) who won Polish Championship for team from Rzeszów. He scored 14 points in attack in that match (47%), he had 4 ace serves and 1 block. Resovia won whole quarter-final against Skra just like semi-final against Delecta Bydgoszcz. They will face with winner of semi-final: Jastrzębski Węgiel vs Kędzierzyn-Koźle. He said after that match: "our fans helped us a lot. In any other country fans can not create such a great atmosphere as in Poland. (...) Just details decided about victory."
