Iran beat today Brazil 3:1 (25:21, 25:19, 23:25, 28:26) in the World League Final Six 2014. This result makes last year's winner Russia won't play in the semi-finals. Top scored player in Iran team was Amir Ghafour with 23 points, in Brazil Lucas Saatkamp with 18 points. After Iran’s qualification for the final four, Amir Ghafour said his team’s historic achievement is the result of hard training, and that they will keep improving their performances until they become champions. He said: "The others may be surprised, but for us this qualification is no surprise. We trained hard to win, we expected this result. We train to be champions, it’s not enough yet but we are training for it".
