Park University upset-minded Indiana Wesleyan to claim its first pool opener since 2014, turning to Noura Meawad for 18 kills to beat the Wildcats in five sets 3–2 ( 21-25, 25-15, 25-23, 21-25, 15-12).
"We came in without Nada Meawad at 100-percent, and her twin sister came up huge. You hear the words team win a lot. This was a team win," said Park coach Mike Talamantes.

"It's a gamble (to take both timeouts that early). A big gamble, but we have a young team and we just had to calm them down," Talamantes said. "Credit Indiana Wesleyan. They had a great crowd and they played some inspired volleyball. It's hard to win here, and that's a big one for our confidence."

Noura Meawad had 52 swings and got 18 kills, 2 Service Aces , 3 Block Assists and 12 Digs.
Nada Meawad (despite the fact that was injured) had 32 Swings and got 8 Kills, 1 Ace , 1 Solo Block and 1 Block Assist and finished the match with 21 Digs.
