Russia won against Thailand national team 3:0 (25:20, 25:23, 25:22). Game was short, but quite interesting. Thailand carried on an equal duel till 20 points in every set, then Thai players made errors and lose every set. Again good match had outside spiker Tatiana Kosheleva who seems to be back in better shape and complemented wing-spiker Natalia Obmochaeva, despite taped hand. Again main offensive player was Onuma Sittirak. “For us Asian teams are very difficult,” said Marichev. “Their game style is different from European volleyball. They have very fast game and difficult services. Today Thailand team played very good, and we faced many difficulties, but we blocked successfully.”
