The Best Hilma Caldeira

Hilma's sports history began with a letter. In her native Diamantina, Hilma dreamed she did not play at Minas Tênis Clube, in Belo Horizonte. Determined, she ran after her dream and in 1987, sent a letter to club president Urbano Santiago asking for a chance to train at Minas. If this is not possible, perform with a shirt signed by the players of Fiat / Minas, Brazilian champions at the time.

Sensitized, the president sent for her for a test. Hilma, 15, was approved and from her career took off. A year after arriving at the club, Hilma was already part of the adult team. In 1989, was world-wide youth champion with a Brazilian Selection, non turkey and the best player of the world infanto-juvenil, realized in Curitiba. It was the beginning of a series of achievements in great Brazilian and European clubs and in the National Team.
