I would not let any friend play for this organization. I could write a book about all the awful things I went through here, along with my teammates. It’s no surprise they have basically a brand new roster every single year. Your health will not be important to this club. Expect to pay your own money to pay for any medicines you need, even prescriptions. Also expect to play through injuries that other clubs would require rest for. 5 hour practices (6 if our coach was in a bad mood) were not uncommon. Rest is not a thing to this coach. There is no weight coach (he was let go because the head coach didn’t agree with him). When you go to the weight room, you will be putting maximum weight on the bar every single day. It is dangerous and numerous girls got injured in the weight room because of this. We had 3 different girls tear their abs due to this, and another with a shoulder injury. It makes no sense. Don’t expect to receive a visa. If you go without one, you will not have one while you are there. Communication is a joke. Nobody seems to know what’s ever going on. You will be told minutes before you are expected to be ready to do something. And don’t be surprised if they force you to move apartments 3-4 times throughout the season, and you will probably only have 24 hours notice to pack all of your things. A girl on this team was fired for being home for her father’s funeral. She played in a match the day after receiving this news, because the team did not have enough players without her. Then she was home for the funeral (during Christmas break) but needed to stay a week past the end of break since the funeral was in January. Then when she asked to be released to find a new team, the club refused unless she paid 2-3k euro. Until the player threatened to sue the club, then of course she was released. Volleybox has a character limit, or else I’d tell the rest of the awful things that happened.
