@hanes, you're quite right, and I'll add that the spiker (OH and opposite) are favourite because they have more chance to get a prize, as best spiker/best scorer/even MVP. Setter and expecially Libero (they didn't serve and block at all!) had very few chance to won more than one prize, also because considering that exist "best setter" and "best libero" awards it's almost impossible for them to win an MVP prize. So or they get the "best setter/libero" or they get nothing.

of course Sergio is an exeption ? (when he was nominated MVP has the "best libero" award already exist?)

very nice movie, and amazing player. When he jumps in the court or over team-mate to celebrate I'm always about to jump too! He is a great inspiration, and if his defensive an receiveing skills aren't enough, he his - with Henno, imo - the best libero-setter in the world.

Italy will play with his best starting six, exept may be Bari because he has a little problem of backache. Speaking about the last match Berruto said that "it will be a very true match, we will play with our best team and of course I imagine Cuba will do the same: the team of the last match is the team that will have to play in final8, so we will have on court the best team possible looking for the best result possible"

if you noticed, the commentators said smth about "paste"... that's because in Italy (I don't know if only in Italy...) if you attack or serve under the net you have to offer "paste" (=tea biscuit or pizza or smiliar, not "pasta" xD) to all the team the next day!! And this happens not only at that level, almost everyone respects this "rule"! ?

if USA get the final8, the question for the 8th place is probably between Serbia and Bulgaria, and may be serbia vs arg has more chance to get few points than bulgaria vs Russia... btw until the math doesn't say the opposite everything can happen, we also have to remember that Cuba is only 2 points over them....actually there's even the chance of USA being the worst second xD
