Brazil won against Bulgaria 3:0 (25:19, 25:22, 25:16) in the third match of the first day in Group B of the Women’s World Championship 2014 at PalaTrieste. Brazil have now won 22 of their last 24 matches. This is Bulgaria's first appearance at the World Championship since 2002, when they finished eighth after losing to Brazil in their classification match. Brazil’s best scorer was Sheilla with 15 points while Dobriana Rabadzhieva and Elitsa Vasileva scored 14 points for Bulgaria.
