Brazil - Turkey (short cut)

Brazil is still unbeaten. However, they didn’t have an easy job with Turkey. You can see players like: Fabiana Claudino (17 points, 7 of which were kill blocks), Jaqueline Pereira and Sheila Castro (16 points each) and Gozde Sonsirma (19 points). It was Brazil’s 80th world championship victory. Only Russia (118) and Japan have won more (85). Brazil has now 11 points, having won all their four matches so far (against Bulgaria, Cameroon, Canada, Turkey). Turkey has 5 points, having won one match against Canada and lost three (1:3 against Serbia and 2:3 against both Bulgaria and Brazil). On the press conference, Brazil coach Zé Roberto said: "It is always difficult to play against Turkey. We won 3-2 at the Olympic Games, we lost 2-3 in the World Grand Prix and tonight we won 3-2 again. Seda played a fantastic match as well as the whole Turkish team. We committed to many mistakes in passing. On the other hand, our block was outstanding tonight. I wish Turkey good luck. Barbolini has a wonderful team".
