There's lots of nice plays in this video. But i have to say, i'm not a big fan of the video's which juts put 300 clips of someone hitting a ball in less than 3 minutes. Some of the hits are really only a little better than average. I'd like to see just the best plays, slowed down a bit so you can observe what's actually happening. To see the guys approach, how he blocks, how he positions himself on defense, how he makes the best of bad situations, or does smart plays, and if it came at an important moment, or on transition, or after he passed a serve etc. etc.

Yeah I'm not really familiar with those 4 teams really, but I figured one of them is going to be the underdog of the final 4.

Also, sorry to all my Polish friends out there. But I'd prefer to see Zenit Kazan in the finals instead of Skra. That's going to be a tough match. I hope its an incredible one to watch.

ACH got put in a very tough position. And look how much easier it would be for Wegiel. That game that Wegiel won against Bled put them in such an easier position. Not that I expect Wegiel to make it to the final four.. but it would have been easier for Bled to make it.

Oli, can't say I agree with you. I hate when people use a song just because 2 or 3 words in it may also be used in the context of volleyball. The song is incredibly annoying too, I don't know who makes music like that, maybe they want to impress 10 year olds who have lots of energy? Well, just my opinion, that's all.

I think you mean the middle blocker guy from PR right? Yeah you wouldn't think he is a volleyball player. I also saw a pretty fat libero one time, I was really surprised.. but he was quite a good passer.

But if Canadian's see this, it will reinforce their views that volleyball is for people who weren't good enough or not fit enough to play other sports...

Apparently something with his wrist?.. I don't know really know. I think its the same thing that happened to Sebastien Ruette... and his career is now over.

And of course, they're not just good servers, they can play well in other aspects too. Wouldn't be the best reception team though.

That one game of the world championships showed that Canada is capable of playing some really good volleyball. If only we can train harder and get more experience to do it consistently.

Hoag signed with VC until 2016. But the Polish can make him an offer probably 10 times better than what he has now. And VC won't be able to do anything.

I don't know though... I have a little bit of faith in the guy. I think there's a chance, that even if Poland makes him an offer, that he will stay here, for his country. But then again I don't know, volleyball canada is very poor, and I think they make bad decisions sometimes. Going to Poland would be a huge step forward in Glenn Hoags career. He could be aiming for an Olympic medal instead of simply a qualification to the Olympics.

Also, I don't know if you guys have paid attention to how Hoag runs a team, but he would likely influence the Polish team to play in less of the traditional style, focus more on a faster offence, and technical execution. Though I don't think a coach can come in and immediately change the playing style from Russian/Polish to Brazilian. The players aren't selected or trained for that. But if Hoag does go to Poland, I still think he will work on things from a different angle, and I think it could be very good for your team.

Please keep me updated, its hard to know all of whats happening in Poland, but i'm trying to give some info for a magazine here in Canada, about what's happening between Hoag and Poland.
