On the third day of the 2016/2017 season, Paola Egonu scored 46 points against Florence. It is a record: the highest number of points ever scored in a single game, in the history of the Italian women's Serie A championship.

This record has meanwhile been broken. By whom? By herself. In a much, much more important game: 47 points in game 1 of the 2019/2020 championship final against Novara.
