Italy - Germany (World Grand Prix 2013, full match)

Italy in top match in Montichiari won with Germany 3:1 (25:23 25:20 24:26 25:20). Game was quite interesting to watch, however Germans again showed that they aren't in best shape. Maren Brinker had only 6 points. Best scorers were Heike Beier (16 points), Christiane Furst (14 points) and Margareta Kozuch. From Italians side best were Carolina Costagrande (21 points), Valentina Diouf (15 points) and Caterina Bosetti (13 points). Marco Mencarelli, Italy’s coach said: "It was a good World Grand Prix round for us. Tonight, I could see the team on court and the girls could not do any better in terms of hard work, team spirit and cohesion". Valentina Diouf, Italy spiker, said: "It was a good game and we reacted to the difficulties we had. Our team is improving and in the following games we’ll be able to manage those moments better".
