Russian team without Natalya Obmochaeva and Tatiana Kosheleva isn't so strong as it was throughout Women EuroVolley 2013. "Sborna" lost game with USA 2:3 on the third day of the FIVB World Grand Champions Cup at Tokyo Metropolitan Gymnasium on Friday. Natalia Malykh was the top scorer in the match with 26 points, while the Americans’ top scorer was Jordan Larson-Burbach with 23 points. USA setter Alisha Glass was named Player of the Match. USA coach Karch Kiraly said: "I want to compliment the Russian team on a lot of really good play. It was a very difficult match for both teams; one team played well and then the other. It was quite inconsistent and hard to get into a rhythm, but it was a very good battle between two good teams and we’re happy to come out with the win. It was a really nice effort by every one of our athletes; all 12 players made a nice contribution tonight".
