Lee So-young had 12 points to lead Korea to the 25:8, 25:9, 25:19 triumph with Kim Yeon-koung adding six in the first set and sitting on the bench for the rest of the match. Korea scored 10 aces in the match that lasted for 67 minutes, compared with three for Algeria.
