Dresdner SC - Uralochka Ekaterinburg (full match)

The Russian team of Uralochka-NTMK Ekaterinburg will face Turkish Fenerbahce Istanbul in the final of the 2014 CEV Volleyball Cup - Women. After losing to Dresdner SC its first semifinal leg by 2:3, the squad of Nikolai Karpol won the second leg at Margon Arena in Germany by 3:1 (25-19, 19-25, 25-18, 25-23) in front of 3000 spectators. The Russian side carried conviction to its individual skills, match tactics and experience. Although the Dresdner SC players missed the historical chance to make it to the final, they played a great match and just barely lost to their strong opponent. Irina Zaryazhko became the best scorer of the match, contributing 24 points to Uralochka’s victory.
