Park University team defeated 3-2 Missouri Baptist in five sets (22-25, 25-17, 25-16, 19-25, 15-11) in St. Louis, Missouri to capture the 2018 American Midwest Conference regular season Championship.
The Pirate offense hit .257 on the night, while holding the Spartans to .182. Nada Meawad led the offense with 48 Swings and 18 Kills , 2 Service Aces , 3 Block Assists and added 16 digs.
Noura Meawad was a force at the net with five Block Assists and 1 Solo Block. She also had 7 Kills out of 27 Swings, 1 Service Ace and 4 Digs.
