In 2007, she was second place in the Pan-American Games, in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, and in the World Cup, in Japan. She also finished in the fifth place in World Grand Prix and won the South American Championship. She also helped Brazil to achieve the silver medal in the FIVB World Grand Prix. In 2012, Sheilla had an amazing performance in the London Olympic Games and helped Brazil to win the gold medal. In 2013, Sheilla helped Brazil to win the World Grand Prix, the South American Championship and the Grand Champions Cup. In 2014, Sheilla helped Brazil to win the gold medal in the World Grand Prix. She had a great performance in the competition in was elected the best opposite spiker. In 2014, she helped Brazil to win the gold medal in the FIVB World Grand Prix and the bronze medal in the FIVB World Championship in Italy.
