In the third round of the Champions League group stage Dinamo Kazan won without big problems with Stiinta Bacau in three sets (25-16, 25-18, and 25-16) as the Romanian spikers failed to deal with the terrific Russian block. Dinamo Kazan extended its winning streak to three consecutive matches and cemented its leadership in group F.
Middle-blocker Regina Moroz joined the team on Tuesday night after she had missed the last match of the Russian Superleague with VC Tyumen (3:0) because of injury and the starting six got back to its original line-up. 'We knew that Dinamo Kazan is a very strong team and our chances were really slim against them. Not even playing their best game, the Russian team sealed the match. I hope that we will play better at home", said the head coach of Stiinta Bacau, Florin Grapa after the match.
