Wu started volleyball for fun at a young age. But when she started to win, the sport became her dream.

She says each team attending this year's Universiade is strong. But she and her team are ready for the hardship, and will go all out for a better result.

This is also the first time Wu has stayed at an athletes village. She says she cherishes the experience, which is neat and warm.
She describes herself as a player that is "not so ready", saying she still has a lot to learn, such as how to adjust quickly when being targeted by the competition.
