China beat Serbia 3:1 for their opening victory at the Women's World Cup 2015. Zhu Ting converted on 17 of her 31 killing attempts and added six blocks and one ace for game-high 24 points and led China to the win. Zhang Changning had nine kills, five aces and four stuffs to contribute 18 points for China while the Europeans were led by Brankica Mihajlovic with 21 points. China captain Zeng Chunlei: We’re very happy to win the game. In the first set, we didn’t really get into the game and Serbia played well. So we were in a tough position, but after that we regained our strength. In the second set and the last three sets we used some younger players and they played very well, so I’m very happy for the team. Hopefully, during the tournament, we can play better and better.
