Another great block by Russian player during World League 2014 Final Six in Florence. In this match there was a lot of great action like this. Denis scored in this match 15 points (12 spikes, 2 blocks and one ace). Russia lost this match 3:1. Russia coach Andrey Voronkov said his side were tired. "We had a very long match with Iran the day before and we needed to win that in fewer sets than we did to be fresh for today. But it took a lot out of us. We understand what Brazil are capable of, and they did very well". Russia have two points after beating Iran 3:2; today’s match between Brazil and Iran will therefore decide whether Russia or Iran go through.

What is interesting Ghafour was top scorer with 30 points for Iran national team. Dimitry scored in match against Iran 8 points (7 spikes and one block). Russia won this after great match 3:2. Russia have won all three of their clashes with Iran, but have never before been taken to three sets by them. Iran have now lost three World League matches in a row. This was Russia’s first win in five sets this season. They had lost their last four five setters in a row.

Iran repeated the historical triumph against Brazil for the second consecutive time in week four of the FIVB World Volleyball League 2014 in Tehran. On the press conference, Iran coach Slobodan Kovac said: "After the last 3-0 victory over Brazil, everyone expected us to win this game, while it was much more difficult and the players were under a heavy pressure. We worked very hard to bring back consistency and teamwork among the players, and that's the key to success."

His team was a favorite of that match, but USA have presented dynamic style of play and won that match in the tie-break. Todor scored 15 points (1 point of block, 12 spikes, 2 aces and 55% of efficiency in attack). USA national team won both matches with Bulgaria. Italy national team showed that they don't accidentally won both matches with Brazil. Italy started the first set strongly. That was the second game of the World League 2014. Italy was leading 10:1 and 16:8 in the first set. Spiker Ivan Zaytsev was dominant, and with some excellent blocking also scoring points, the Europeans took the set 25:17. Italy's head coach Mauro Berruto said: “It was a wonderful week for us. We played a very good matches against the best team in the world. We played an excellent first set. However, I know that we still having a lot to improve in the World League". Brazil captain Bruno Rezende congratulated Italy. "They played well this two games and I think that their serving worked really well again. We need to improve a lot in the next games. We will practice a lot and I know that we will play better next week".
