Brazil - USA (short cut)

In a battle of undefeated teams, Brazil (now 9-0) defeated Team USA (8-1) in three sets (25:23, 25:22, 25:21) to win Group F at the Women’s World Championship on Sunday at the "PalaOlimpia" in Verona. Both teams advance to the Final Round in Milan, which begins on Wednesday. Tandara Caixeta was the top scorer with 21 points for Brazil, followed by USA's Nicole Fawcett with 13 points. Brazil top scorer Tandara Caixeta said: "Every match is important. I'm very satisfied because USA is one of the strongest teams in the world. I'm proud of my teammates, we know that we can always count on each other. Now we've to stay focused on the next phase".
