Brazil - USA (World Grand Prix 2013 Final Six, full match)

Brazil gets first win in Final Six in Sapporo. "Canarinhas" smashed American team 3:0 without any difficulties. Fernanda Rodrigues led Brazil with 13 points, while Nicole Fawcett was the top scorer for USA with 10 points. Brazil had 11 blocking points to USA’s seven, while both teams had three service points. After match, Brazil coach Jose Roberto Guimaraes said: I think we played really good volleyball today. Of course, I’m happy about the game. I agree with (USA coach) Karch (Kiraly) that it’s a difficult tournament, playing five top matches in five days. It’s important to learn in each match and I hope we play well against Japan tomorrow; it’s always difficult against Japan with their style".
