Bucuresti, Romania, November 27: In a very important game as they fight for third place in their group, Dinamo Bucuresti won against Gent Dames of Belgium in three sets (25:20, 25:17, and 25:15) to claim their first victory in the prelims of the 2014 CEV DenizBank Volleyball Champions League - Women. Though the Belgian rookies displayed some good actions, it was the hosts who in the end deservedly had the upper hand. Mariya Karakasheva top scored for the home side with 15 points while Alida Marcovici added another 12 points. “I am really satisfied with my team’s performance tonight. We did a good job but this is not the end yet” said Dinamo Romprest General Manager Marian Stefan after the game. “We have to play better next week and win in Belgium as well.”
