Kim Yeon-Koung 2nd meter spike
Powerful spike by Kim Yeon-Koung on the second meter. Look at great defense by Korean player: Jaeyeong Lee and fantastic set by Jeong-Ah Park. Compulsory set in this situation became "incredible". Korea recorded its second win in Group B, beating Germany 3:1 (21:25, 25:20, 25:22, 25:21) at the Intercontinental Round of the FIVB Volleyball World Grand Prix at the Hwaseong Sports Complex on Saturday. MVP of game was Kim Yeon-Koung with 25 points. The Korean coach commended the strong will of the German players and explained why he focused on their service game. "The German players had good fighting spirit,” coach Lee Sungoo said. "If they played the whole game like the way they did in the first set, we would not win the match today. My plan was really to have strong service. I wanted to make the German players slow down on their quick plays and that is by serving powerfully. I am glad that the players were able to execute this plan".
