Sesi didn't have Fabiana Claudino who is in Japan with the national team for the dispute of the World Grand Champions Cup. In the 4th set, Sesi had the chance to win and make 3 sets to 1 but Pinheiros got an amazing reaction winning the set and the tie-break. Sesi's coach Talmo Oliveira said after the match :" It was a tough match and we knew it was going to be complicated. We had the chance to win in the 4th set but we made too many mistakes and lost the confidence in ourselves". "Still, we got one point in this match and now we are going to do our best in the next match against São Caetano" - declared the captain Carol Albuquerque.
