The challenge between Turkey and the USA was won by the girls of Karch Kiraly 3-2 (25-22, 18-25, 27-25, 23-25, 18-16) at the end of an authentic battle. Guidetti, (I would like him in Italy instead of Mazzanti), prepared an excellent match, and his girls fought with heart until the end, but he was betrayed by the serve from nine meters: too many mistakes on his side and two strokes of luck by the Americans who in the decisive moments saw two short balls turn into impregnable ace… he and his girls deserved more.
