I am a French head-coach in 5th division team. We are aiming to build a competitive team in order to reach the 4th division. The profil offered on your website are mostly professional players and our organisation don’t have the budget to fully pay them.
However, we are looking for a German-speaking player (German, Austrian, Swiss, Belgium, or German speaking country) or English-speaking (Canada, USA, England etc) with a 4th or upper level in volleyball who would be interested as part of his studies or training to come and improve his French and discover French culture by taking a position of German or English assistant in a high school.
The goal would be for him to live a double project: first to be enriched by personal and professional experience and also to be able to enjoy his favorite sport by joining our team.
As assistant the position starts in October. It could be possible to extend upto April or May. I think the player could be accommodated for free within a student room within the high school.
As volleyball player, we are looking for a setter and a wing spiker.
Of course, at this point the project is still on progress and I’m willing to established a first contact with your agency in order to adapt together further details.
You’ll find below the financial possibilities that are offered.
The terms of the contract are as follows:
- contract from October 1, 2022 to March 31, 2023
- 12 hours of lessons per week in 1, 2 or 3 establishment(s)
- 790€ net per month
- possibility of receiving help to find accommodation (sometimes inexpensive accommodation offered in the establishment)
- possibility of applying for housing assistance (CAF) to help you pay your rent
basic French social security included 1h30 from Paris and lot of things to do and discover.
We need to know if this type of position could interest a young student player or having carried out some studies.
