Surviving Polish winter w/Britt Bongaerts

Did you know Britt and I both started our careers on the same team? Ladies in Black Aachen, forever in our hearts. Flash forward a few years, and Britt is living and playing in Lodz, Poland, a town I mispronounce atleast 10 times in this video. Polish is hard. 

Britt has made a name for herself in Germany and now Poland, and has dreams of playing in Italy and Turkey. Uh-oh, am I going to get another Britt in trouble for using the T word? Yes she's very happy in Lodz. But no she probably won't play there forever. Just sayin. 

Britt shows us around her apartment where she admittedly feeds her online shopping addiction, rarely cooks and spends hours on facetime. She welcomed me so warmly with Dutch cookies, an instant coffee (no judgement, I'll drink anything with caffeine!) and even offered some cozy socks for the podcast. I felt right out home and warm despite the freezing snow outside.
