Kk15 I agree about they deserve the title with such a regular season, but I'm still regretting that fifth semifinal match in Trento, where Modena was leading 2-1 from 0-1, which we lost because of the injury of an unstoppable Dennis (he scored 17 so far, but his percentages were greatly increasing aswell as the whole team's). I remember one of Stoytchev's bench assistant who went to Trento's scouts next to me and said them something like "We must think up a solution very shortly because the match is going away") . The bad luck did it, I would say. Anyway It is also true that with such Cuneo every mid-class team would have won.

Has anyone the true values of block and spike jump reach of this guy? Above ones seems to be quite wrong or maybe outdated after seeing this video =) I'd bet at least 350 for block and 365 for attack...

@Kk15 I saw him in a few matches during WC here in Modena always playing in the starting six together with Verona's Aidan Zingel. Nice skilled youth player (22 yo) , physically good (205 cm) strong attacker and solid blocker. May become a key player if he gets experienced (and with Giani I think he might). A good substitute for Lebl and Bjelica, as for now.

Yesterday very amazing battle against Bruno Rezende!

Fighting for a place in the semifinals, and just later we're sadly the last team in the pool.. This is volleyball, this is sport. Tomorrow we'll see nice south american and european semis. My predictions: BRA-ARG 3-1 , POL-RUS 1-3.

Honestly I think Italy would have lost anyway. 17 blocks against 6 , under 40% as for positive reception, never once reactive and accurate with 2nd touches, the main target was spiking in the 3rd meter with show for Bulgarian Block. I think We deserved going home. The only positive side is about Ivan Zaytsev... what a jump and serve!=O

I think every national team and club aswell could have thier negative periods. The only exeption I see is Brazil which can provide for the national team new,youth and very skilled players every year. Cuba could do the same, but we all (don't) know what's happening over there.
Bulgaria and Poland have simply reached their bottom now, they have to work hard for the next dates, European Championships over all, and the results will come ?

I understand you polish friends. But I think Italy won mostly because Poland was very very poor, ever seen this team playing like that. Nothing worked, no serve and terrible settings by Zygadlo after bad receptions. Zagumny,Wlazly,Winiarski where are you??
With them we would have seen a different match for sure. Italy did just their homework against an inexistent opponent tonight, nothing more. Hope Poland will stand up against argentina, at least for that wonderful audience.
