Perugia's president today woke up wanting Kaziyski. So on today no more Juantorena, but just rumors on the bulgarian spiker. It's voiced ex cuban spiker may renew contract with Halkbank as loan from Trentino, with Kaziyski being the "second option" to replace Goran Vujevic. There is a lot of mess around there but what's sure is they have the economical ability to rule the transfer session as they want. Argentinian setter Luciano De Cecco is today given to be hired very soon, confirming rumors of last weeks.

Robertlandy Simon close to sign with russian team Fakel Noviy Urengoy.
@Wilfredo_is_Marshall: Every team/player/coach registered at FIVB has a profile on it in order to get in touch with other teams/players/coaches but also procurators and managers.
@Repick: Can't give you access to FIVB DB, it's for club members only. But I've found this article from French press:
http://www.ouest-france.fr/volley-ball-ligue-am-deux-nouveaux-venus-nantes-reze-metropole-2524445
@Repick: As of FIVB DB, this player's transfer status has been changed 1 day ago by Nantes Rezé Métropole Volley.
@Anna: I suppose yes but don't know such details. It normally uses like that.
Perugia off limits, they want to buy everybody: more than just voices on Osmany Juantorena via Trentino and Luciano De Cecco from Piacenza.
Did they discover any diamond or gold mine there?
Last second news: Aleksandar Atanasijević just singed contract renewal with Perugia. 3-year contract, € 1.2 million
Team president confirms here 15:45 http://www.tgr.rai.it/dl/tgr/regioni/PublishingBlock-f8ed8a22-3948-4917-8042-b0b87a6304df.html
@d-rose93: PM sent
Croatian opposite Igor Omrčen will probably come back to Italian league. Contract with Japanese Hiroshima Thunders expired.
Ivan Zaytsev's procurator confirms transfer to Dinamo Moscow, 3-year contract for little less € 1 million per season
@PZU77: As of what I know, he wasn't in bad shape except the last 2 games of the season. And I also know about his very good seasons before coming here in Modena, then I was very disappointed. Last year we had very little money to build a team, so our club decided to hire Zibi who was a good player but not too expensive, hoping he would have redeemed the bad times with national team. I think the main reason for his bad season is one: Modena is an historic and traditional place for italian volleyball, here people is very competent and critical for the main team, so players are always under pressure and judgement (and Zibi was the most awaited player). Many and many top class players who played here suffered this and experienced terrible seasons. Really hoping Zibi all the best for his future, it's bad when you see a player failing with such positive spirit.
@dude: Globally very, very disappointing. Very good person and professionist, very charismatic but tremendously unreliable attacker. He maybe started some match very good but always finished with very low efficiency. Also he's never been effective on serve except sometimes in the last month.
But what I missed the most is he was not once able to be decisive in important actions like an international opposite should (never got a single MVP this year) also considering he was playing together with the best setter in the world .
@Akolita: In Piacenza many things can happen: It can only be a president's "bluff" just like last year's, may be they will stay in Piacenza with a different sponsor than Copra but with a less expensive team roster, may be they will play national competitions in Piacenza and CL matches in Milan, may be they will be fully absorbed by Itely Volley Milan. In the last case, two options are open: they can buy the whole club and transfer it to Milan or just the pass to replace Piacenza in all competitions (without getting any player contract, so they will be free). If so Modena can hire them.
Foreigns will be still four, then with Bruno and N'Gapeth staying two places are available.
I know Verona is planning a very good budget mostly coming from they major sponsor Calzedonia and want to make a highly competitive team (rumors on Juantorena and Raphael). Turin is ending the deal with Cuneo to transfer the team there with Fiat as main sponsor. No need to say how much economical resources will they have to build a top team already now.
Vettori and Simon very likely to Casa Modena if Copra won't move to Milan. And probably one between Fei and Piano.
Atanasijevic is also a hot name, but I don't think he will move from Perugia soon: firstly he will play his first on-court CL there, second Perugia is looking for a top setter like De Cecco so they should not weaken the team by selling him, third also big teams have to carefully assess whether spending a big amount for a single player or not (he accepted then broke a 2 year pre-contract in Japan for 600k euros/ season )
Beretta and Bartman have been very disappointing for the big most of the season and 99% will not be confirmed.
Modena is said to play at the top in the upcoming season, especially if one yellow-blue swedish furniture retail company will be sponsoring the club.
@dude: There were voices about Juantorena and Sokolov, but probably things will be different as the first declared love for Trento and I don't think he will move to rivals and the second is no more between the rumors from long time. There are absolutely NO chances for Raphael and Bernardi because Modena's setter Bruno renewed for the next 2 seasons (first 2yr contract in his career) and our coach Lorenzetti has 2 years left as well (and confirmed).
@pearl: Just a little bit Pearl!! ... just a little bit ? Like no sleeping for a week!
Pleased to see you again on here!
sorry for RJX supporters and Bruno's brazilian fans but Modena has been patiently waiting this moment since 3 years and now YESSS WE CAN WELCOME BRUNO BACK HOME!! See you at the airport on 01/05

Official confirmation : http://www.pallavolomodena.com/
@rbk17: Zenit signed him with two foreigns yet (Anderson and Grbic) , so he will be able to play Champions League games only. This means very few teams are open to offer him a chance again. Hopefully this will be a good one as surely Siberian cold winter will heat his mind down...?
Matteo Martino signed for Zenit Kazan. Source: his manager. Good luck... to the russian team!
@camnow: Unfortunately that's how it works in Italy in these period. Star players go, mostly unknown ones come. Reasons are well known
