To tell the truth,I haven't followed him much in this season,but I saw him in the World Cup and he played quite well.. I have nothing against Bari,in fact I wrote before that I hope it wasn't just his day

@Aelinn I really don't know,Giovi played well in the world cup in Japan (as I remember he was MVP against Brazil!!!) and I expected Berruto would have brought him to Sofia.. Today I saw a really questionable Bari,in trouble even with float serves..

I would wait before saying Italy is one of the favorites... I didn't like what I saw against Finland today. Especially reception,Bari did mistakes on the easiest balls. I hope it wasn't ""his"" day,but most of all because of him Italy couldn't play at its levels. But I would say the whole team was a little bit "switched-off". We'll see what they'll do against Germany,which is maybe the strongest team in our pool.

In the first two sets Trento dominated all the time,Lube didn't exist at all. Then I think they remembered what happened in Coppa Italia final and they woke up and won this match with all of their heart. Kovar,Exiga,Parodi,Travica,Stankovic,they all won an incredible match,but all I can think while I'm seeing this tie-break is how much I'm happy for Igor Omrcen. This was the last season with Macerata,the last season as a captain and he didn't want to leave Italy without the Scudetto. He played these final minutes with all of his strength and heart and this title is absolutely deserved. He leaves a strong mark in Italian league and in this club. Ciao Igor,ora mostra il meglio di te in Giappone! :)

According to these italian sites almost in every club all of the setters are leaving for letting De Cecco come LOL I don't think Travica will leave Macerata,I mean,it's only the first year and in some interviews he said that he wanted to stay there for a long time and win something important with this club.. same thing for Rapha,Trento would lose two of their most important players in the same year if he leaves..Everything is possible,but I don't trust so much rumors

I woul have been happier seeing Lasko in Macerata,but Ivan is also a good choice to replace Omrcen. We'll see in the next season what they are able to do with this line-up ?
