oh ya never meant to give the impression i was good jump server, trust me lol im not trying to compare myself to pros at all, that would be very silly. i'm terrible at times but i seem to go through lots of phases with my form and once in a while i get a good streak. Its just something i pay close attention to, in other players and in myself.

ya i think something like that is a lot more acceptable for a beach player though, after all the sand doesn't allow you to use all that much forward momentum to transfer into a higher and longer jump. your either jumping off of 2 feet or your either jumping off of 2 feet. ok there's more to it dont mean to offend any beach players but u know what i mean. i love watching peoples jump serve form though. its one of my favorite parts of the game, also i focus a lot on it for myself as a player. See i can't really say i'm a good hitter or passer if i'm not playing against pro level blockers or servers. but at least with jump serve all i need is a ball and a net (k and maybe 15000 fans the pressure of match point). So ya i love to watch different forms, its great to see players like zaytsev and savani put strength from their whole body into the swing. needless to say tho i'm not gonna look at this guys form and try it for myself. to each his own lol :)

that's true Michael i can picture dalhausser's approach in my head and i see that you are correct. though his feet are switched in his approach, he at least has them approximately lined up, rather than right foot way ahead of the left foot.

look at 20:20 has anybody seen that approach before? he has the approach of a left handed hitter but hits with his right hand. hey not criticizing his serve was fine, but i just don't know if i have seen that before.

ya i thoguht nobody in the world would know about that song or that artist (ok well he does have 95 million views on youtube). but then I did read that he's alot more popular in europe than he is here. I heard that song on a late night radio one time, but never again after that.

btw kind of off topic but anyone know where to get good HD quality footage from olympics? ya some matches are on youtube but you're gonna lose a lot of quality when you try to record them off the internet, edit, and then re-upload. I also don't really like torrents. I'd pay if I could have a nice collection on DvDs in HD either .avi or .mpeg

i've had lots of idea's for songs, but I think most songs only have 1 or 2 parts that would go good for a volleyball video.

If I make a new video I'll probably try to use 2-3 different songs, and just play a minute or two of each.

This can get rather annoying though, because it increases the probability that youtube will take the sound away from your movie because it had copyrighted music in it.
