and ya im gonna say what some others have said, i like the serving aspect of modern volleyball, ie jump serves.

sure Nagor, but on the other hand you used to have to be such a good all around player to be a middle blocker, not so much anymore though. i guess thats not necessarily a bad thing, but it would be cool today to be able to say that 'so and so' is truly the best volleyball player. now you can only say they are the best in one area, or one position.

i think the ball was out of his reach, unless he reached far into the opponents side, where germany could easily block and have a good chance for the point. well he fooled the blockers anyways by making it look like he would set, but its more of an error IMO, in the pass and in the block.

pearl gavin plays in russia now i think. but ya he did play in korea. he's a good player but 58 points in korean league doesn't automatically make someone one into one of the best in the world.
